Monday!

Hello all :o)

Today was a great day at work! I will be posting pics on the parent area that I have set up...well I have almost completed. But its looking really, really good. Costco has a really nice shelf there, its beeeeeautiful. It has pastel colored wooded bins to sort stuff, but its birch wood (really durable) so I bought that...I am just looking for a bench thingy for the parents to sit and relax on...this involved fishing the phone lines through ceiling tiles and taking down shelves and hooks and lots of stuff! But its been worth it :o) Tomorrow I am going to Dollarama for poster board and then Scholars Choice for some bulltion board set with a 'family' feel to it. For accreditation we have to have a parent area...and with the help of another staff...we have it ALMOST done...I will be taking pics forsure to share!

So from work, I went to the hairdressers. I got my hair foiled...desperately needed. Then I bought a 30.00 product into my hair...and she told me to come monthly for trims. I didn't know that..I thought every 3 months was good enough! Opps! Anyhow, I gave her a really good tip and she didn't even thank me...not for the tip but for NOTHING! When she was rinsing my hair she used FREEZING cold water...brr! But she did do a good job...but I need to STOP wearing ponytails, apparently my hair is breaking off (yikes!)

Then, I came home. Mack had the neighbor boy over for supper. So I walked in just in time to eat. Fabe had burgers, rice and veggies for supper. Everything was super good.

Now, I just tided the kitchen. Gonna do some laundry and relax...

My week is very very busy....

Tuesday-Ultrasound with Amanda in the afternoon then in the evening, off to a junior high for Mack's school (omg...junior high!!!)

Wednesday-Kennedy's gymnastics

Thursday- Tutor and soccer volunteering.

Friday- Hannah Montanna 3-d movie with Kennedy

Saturday- Clothing Club party at my house.

Sunday- NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, my sister and everyone will be done next Wednesday night...for a week. until the following Sunday..then they leave and Rikki and my friends son, Darius come over for the week...crazzzzy next few weeks. Anyone who knows me, knows that I like short visits. I like when people come over for a day or two...but then please leave. I am a homebody. I like my space. I like my relaxing 'down' time...so this literally stresses me out..

BUT,,,

I'm off for the summer so who friggin cares !!!!!!!

Update on my throat...

So we went to see the movie, "college road trip" and then we grabbed the kids Taco Bell. I decided to go to the medicentre to sign in and then come back...that was at 6:30pm! So they told me 1.5 hours. So I came home, then went to Sobeys for lunch food....then went to the medicentre for just before 8pm. I waited there until flippin 9:45 then they finally called my name....waited in the exam room for another 20 mins, then the dr came in...he was very nice and considering it was only ONE doctor and DOZENS of people, we wasn't rushed at all. But I knew that I had to go, because this week is horribly busy and I have something every single night until Sunday (I HATE these weeks!) so anyhow, he said 'yes you have a horrible, ugly infection..its really quite bad and you should have come in a lot sooner' but I told him it only started on Saturday....he came me some Keflex and sent me on my way. I went to Shoppers got it, then bought some more tylenol which has been my saviour! Anyhow...its sooo bad now that I can't move my right side of my neck very much, its very swollen. It happened so fast!

After the movie, out in the car I looked in my mirror and saw white chunky stuff on my right tonsil, so I thought that I better go...

Sunday!

I feel a lot better today. My throat got soooo bad last night...ugh. I finally took a tylenol, gravol and antibiotics and went to bed at 9pm. I slept right through the night...thankfully. I have to take the tylenol every 4 hours forsure otherwise it really, really starts to hurt.

Today we cleaned the house...laundry needs to be done but aleast its mostly clean...feels much better.

We are all showering and getting ready for the movie, at 4pm. We are going to see "College Road Trip" it looks pretty funny! So the 4 of us are going, we haven't done that for so long...so it should be nice...

Work tomorrow...but thats okay...I have the middle of June to look forward too and I am not going to complain anymore :o)

Tuesday I am only working until noon, as Amanda has her ultrasound at 1pm that I am going to with her...hopefully she will find out what the sex is :o) As well, they want to see why the baby is soooo tiny...she's now 31 weeks..wow. And she has gained 6 pounds and measures 25 weeks...so a little behind...but still....she is SO super tiny...I will try to sneak a pics and post it of her tummy!!!!!Her story is kinda sad, her life story. But she has lots to prove to child welfare about her parenting, and I am hoping that we can work on that together...if she doesn't, then the consequences might not be good for her. Anyhow, this is a story that I will be following up with...and for the record she is aware and a reader of my blog, and she is over 18 years old...in case those of you who may be concerned...

Done Memory Keeper Book

Literally last night until bed, I read. ALL day today I stayed on the couch...and read. I really liked the book,its a story that will stay with me for a long time...so tragic and sad. I can't imagine...but yeah it was pretty depressing...

My throat is still killing me, even more so now in the evening...ugh. I hope that I don't get really sick..I just want to scream..I have so much to do yet I can't do anything...

Saturday so far....

Today I woke up with a horrible sore throat...ugh. Usually I get them when I am tired but for me to have it during the day, its not a good sign of things to come. My mom finally took her car into the car place, with the help of Fabe...today so she is hanging at our house for the day so that Fabe can take her back to her car when it is done. She got bored with me laying on the couch with my new book "The memory keepers daughter" which I am already half way through...and Jane it is depressing...I'm only at the children's ages are 13 years old and their trip to Aruba (naughty!)

Fabe tried to empower me to get off the couch. I had the heat on, fireplace going down here...he came in and said "ugh, its so hot in here!"so I turned down the heat and got up, had some milk and a Roca (bad, bad!) the kids want to walk to the store so I will find some cash (kinda hard, as my mom has my car and my purse is in there!) but I'm sure we will find some in the money jar. I should go chip ice on the driveway...get some fresh air. Fabe things that it will do me wonders...

We aren't sure about Florida for Christmas anymore now. Mom and I were talking today and we looked online at the plane tickets, and WOW they are expensive then..so we're thinking maybe taking them to either Cuba or Vegas for a week...I really want the kids to see Vegas. So we'll see. Vegas is the cheaper of them...all 4 of us can go for 1958.00 for 7 nights, air and hotel. Pretty cheap. We spend more on that for Christmas...so we'll see. Only santa will bring them a stocking and gift at whereever we are....

I have CMT on and I have been watching depressing music videos all day, while reading. I'm using the living room which I never use. Fabe brought the laptop down here for me, and I have my favorite blanket and my books...so its all good. I turned the fireplace off a while ago...so the house will cool down a bit.

Its suppose to be beautiful outside today....so I will go check it out and see for myself. One of Fabe's friends came and picked him up to see his new car...Fabe has been out all day thus far (garage)...we had high hopes of painting this weekend...but since I don't feel so well today its not an option to paint...hopefully I don't get sick-sick like I was only a few weeks ago...that the thing with working in child care...catch everything and anything...ugh.

Well, I better rise from the couch...

Frrrrriday!!!!

Yeah ;o)

I had an EXCELLENT day today! Because guess what???????

I am taking 1/2 of June (to prepare for summer) and july and August off work!!!!!!!!

I'm soooooo happy!!!!

Today I talked to my boss and she agreed, as long as I PROMISE to come back in Sept. So I've been dreaming about this all day now. I will go in for about 3 hours a week just to assist with the maintaining of everything..And thats all..of course I told her if she is ever really stuck I will come in too, but she said for me to work hard on getting what needs to be done...done and it will be no issue! Yeah!

So of course, thats a huge relief for me as I was starting to worry about filling the kids up with daycamps, etc even though they don't want too. She told me I can do this every summer if I want...all the more reasons to STAY put!

Anyhow, I got home and 2 of the neighbors were out there talking to I chatted with them too for a while. The Fabe came home...he joined us. Now him and the neighbor, James are going to take out their quads for a ride. The kids are enjoying nachos and salsa...we are all in underear and tshirts as the bottoms of our pants are all wet from the slushy stuff.

Well anyhow....better run along...

New Books!

Today I went to Costco..for work of course ;o)

And I bought 2 new books for myself. Now, really I shouldn't be buying more books as I have my novel and tons and tons of reading for my course to do....but these books sounded so good.

The first one is "A New Earth" Its the Oprah book club one..its suppose to totally empower you..change you life. They said that about "eat pray love" and I didn''t 'get it'...whoever said it was like a pity party book about her life and break up...said it so correctly!

The other one, is a novel. Its called "the memory keeper's daughter" It says its about a doctor who, because of a blizzard is forced to deliver his own twins. The boy is healthy, but the daughter has down syndrome...but he tells the nurse to take it into town to an institution. Instead she disappears into another city to rasie the child as her own...it says its deeply moving. The authos is Kim Edwards....I'm not sure what one to start with...I'm excited!

Love early days!

I love Thursdays, because the kids are off school early and I 'need' to be home in time for when they get home. I love it :o) I leave work at 2:30pm and I am home by 3:00pm with the kids. THey get done their homework early and we just have more time together. I have supper almost ready. Macks tutor will be here at 6 for an hour. I still have to walk the dog. I will just be doing some laudry and tidying up.

Thursday! Sweet!

I'm so happy that the week is ALMOST over..it has felt like a really, really long week. With my sister down last weekend then being super busy this week..its just been crazy! The last 2 nights I have gotten home at 8:30-9:00pm! Crazzzzzy! I've been pooped out.

Wasn't this the week that I said, yeah I can leave early from work???? Yeah...right.

But yesturday I was off at 3:30pm but then I had crap to do..get receipts for the kids for the sports tax credit..Kennedy's gymnastics, dance and Macks soccer. Kennedy is done gymnastics on the 19th..yeah! I love when stuff ends. Thats gives me about 2-4 weeks (depending on how fast the snow melts!) before soccer starts. Kennedy will be playing outdoor soccer along with Mack this spring. Thankfully nothing in the summer.

I have been booking stuff for the summer. So far I have booked Wilderness Village...we had a membership there when I was younger and its a total family campground with pools, horse back riding, parks, etc...its beautiful there. In fact, we spent Christmas there one year! Its year round camping..pretty cool. Plus they have cabins there to rent for pretty cheap. Its about 2 hours from Edmonton by Rocky Mountain House...

Also, I booked Ole MacDonalds resort...never been there but have heard about it...

ANyhow, gotta cover lunch breaks....

Monday.

Work is pretty good. But kinda slow. I'm actually kinda bored...ho-hum.

I will have to stay a bit later then what I wanted too..but oh well. After tomorrow I can't. The option isn't even there are Fabe will be working.

Fabe wants to go to the lake on Saturday to check it out...and see how it is going...so we'll see. Might be something neat doing...I would like to see what it looks like in the winter. This year we are planning for our neighbors to bring their trailers out for a weekend...I think it would be super cool!

I really, really wanna book a trip to Vegas. I love everything about Vegas...LOVE it!!!

Hannah Montanna~

I bought tickets for Kennedy and I to go to Hannah Montanna 3-D at the movie theatre.

She will be super thrilled...so I ordered them from www.cineplex.com online...

Its on March 14th.

I'm even kinda excited...'you get the best of both worlds'...

Snow Snow..go away...

Ugh.

Its been snowing all day.

But...

thankfully its still nice outside and not crappy cold weather. So really, I can't complain.

Sunday.

So the weekend is behind us now.

Today, my sister set out about 10:30 am. She picked up her nanny from her friends house and off they went.

Today, I re-cleaned the house again..did the floors AGAIN!!! lol. But it is all clean now. I just have a few loads of laundry to put away. I finally had time to fold some socks and underwear and put that all away. Its almost 6pm and Kennedy has already had her bath...and for the first time in a long time...I'm actually bored. Weird. I was thinking about going down to sew some baby wash clothes for Amanda...she is due in May. She is 29 weeks and wears her jeans still...size 1 jeans...she is sooo tiny. She has a tiny little belly. I'm going with her on March 11th for her ultrasound...hopefully she can find out what she is having so she can start to prepare for it. She hasn't been doing much to get ready...as she said that she wants to wait on the sex of the baby...she has a few things..but thats about it..hopefully she can pull it together and get it all ready...

I've already cleaned the basement from them. I am not going to wash the bedding, because they will be back in 3 weeks anyhow for a week. So I am going to leave the playpen set up and the spare room as is...because no one else should be coming to stay and if they do...I have clean bedding in the closet.

I'm trying to get on line to WebCT to check my first assignment mark but I can't get on it...how annoying...I better get reading that book too...ugh. Just when you think that you have some time to do hobby things, something else always comes up. But my big assignment is due March 20th so I better get a move on it...

My nephews are so cute. It was really nice having them here. They are so funny! Braeden is almost 5 years old (in April). He is in a preschool program and will begin kindergarten in Sept. Crazy. He is so smart and advanced for his age. He loves letters and anything to do with school. As well, he is such a nice boy. Last night at McD's there were some children who were playing and told him 'be the bad guy' and he stopped and said "lets just be good guys, lets not let there be any bad guys"...as well he is an awesome older brother. Matthew is 2.5 and he is demanding. You can tell very much so, that he is the 'baby' of the family...he still sleeps in a crib and he's just their baby. But his speech is utterly unreal. He knows all of the colors, and you can carry on a full converstaion with him. He asks you questions... "is this pretend fruit or real fruit?" things like that...he is SO smart...the way that he walks is so cute. He is a very cute little boy in action. But when he wants something, he wants is NOW!!!!! He sleeps in a playpen at my house, and he crawled out of it the other day...for his nap and said that he wants to sleep on the bed. I told my sister, maybe he is ready for a bed and she said 'nope, not until summer'...lol. She said she isn't ready for that...lol. Oh my!

Yup, THIS my friends is how she leaves her stuff at my house...all over the front entrance, usually Fabe gets annoyed then takes it downstairs him self..but yeah..this is what it looks like EVERY time.

And for the record, I could NEVER get a-way with this at her house...

Ahhhh, just feels so so good going down. Knowing its zero calories and just so yummy...South Beaching is going well still BUT today I ate pretty crappy...but tomorrow I will be back on board...I mean I didn't pig out or anything but I didnt' exactly follow it to a 'tee'...
