Our tradition is that the children open 1 gift in the evening on Christmas 'eve'. The children take forever to find the 'right' one that they want to open! Its so funny! They waited ALL day to open it. While we were playing Monolopy they were asking 'are we done yet? We want to open a gift!' but I made them wait until the very bitter end of the night to open it. Only the children open one, not the adults. Plus we set out carrots for reindeer, cookies and milk for santa. This year, we left out Eggnog!
